Description: well, Greece has something to be proud of back in the 80's-90's! Once upon a time in Europe there was a small coutry (Greece that is!) and in that...oh well! Aneroussis Control proudly presented back then (beginning of 90's I'd say) the Pacman joystick for Amiga (later on the same game with a PC gameport plug for the PC). Nothing beats this, few of you here who have used this instead of Competition Pro etc. know what I am talking about! I remember buying this for 15 pounds back then. They made another one before that, Tomahawk, I will post it when I find it. Single button, heavy, solid absolutely the best!

| November 19, 2005, 01:14:09 PM Yes I do remember buying a pacman joystick along with my beloved A500 from Stournara street in early 1990. It was an earlier version than the one pictured. I still have it somewhere in my parents' basement in Athens. To this day, I have still not found a controller that compares. I'll drink a pint to pacman! :pint: p.s. I'd certainly buy a USB version of it - and I'd be tempted to say there might even be an international market for them. Certainly the much acclaimed competition pro pales before the mighty pac man. |
