Ports & SCSI Module MOD
Ports & SCSI Module MOD
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: Read some where that the SCSI-II Terminator and the Ports Module in the A4000T were two separate boards on one PCB.

Here's proof all lined up after the procedure.  Sniped the extra bit off of the SCSI side to even it out.

This'll open the upper 9 & 25 pin ports for use with internal devices (like SCSI-III on my Cyberstorm).  2 of each if you remount the Ports module on the bottom two rows instead of in the middle... :-D

Yes, I cut along the top and then cut the excess off of the terminator.

You want to make sure you use a fine enough bit (if using a dremmel like I did) to not expose the copper if possible.
