I'm not an MTB fan, but can appreciate a well-built machine.

You'd better be riding trails with this beast man...or if you just cruise to work with it in an easy gear ratio...then you are a fag!

hehehehehehe, again, nice bike! :-D

Crickey! 3000 quid for a bike! Do you have any idea what nice skis or drysuit you could get for that amount of cash! Some people just don't get it ;-).

Yep, she's a beauty. She's built up as an all day trail play bike that will handle some lightweight freeride. The all up weight is 29.5lb so it's light for it's strength.

So far the spend is somewhere in the region of £2,700:

Frame       -   2004 Specialized Enduro base model
Rear Shock  -   Fox Float R / Romic Twin Tube (depending on terrain)
Forks       -   Pace RC 40, 130mm travel, carbon lowers
Brakes      -   Hope M4
Seatpost    -   Thomson Elite
Saddle      -   SDG Bel Air
Rims        -   Mavic XC717 disc 36H
Hubs        -   Hope Bulb (in anodised blue)
Spokes      -   DT Swiss stainless steel
Tyres       -   Panaracer Cinder 2.25
Bars        -   Easton EA50 risers
Shifters    -   Shimano Deore
Rear Mech   -   Shimano XT
Cassette    -   SRAM PG990
Front Mech  -   Shimano Deore LX
Crankset    -   Shimano Hollowtech II
Pedals      -   Crankbrothers Mallet
