Description: Hi all. I've recently had som problems with my VS-Adapter. But figured it might have something to do with this.. As you can se 4 pins are soldered together on the back of the Video-Slot adapter port on the ZIV busboard. Any ideas? DOES YOU ZIV LOOK LIKE THIS?

If it was, the solder might not have been the problem and while you were sucking it out (not because of), you inadvertently fixed the real problem. If that was a grounding deal, you might have a bigger problem later on with the solder removed. I guess the test would be to put the solder back on and see if it still works. As long as you don't unfix the thing you fixed on accident in the process. :-) |
