TjLaZer Posts:3245 | December 17, 2005, 03:33:15 AM Well you must clearly be joking, but if you really don't know what that is under the A1200 you need to be shot! :flame: :destroy: |
xaccrocheur Posts:430 | December 07, 2005, 08:15:13 AM Erm, what is it ? What's in the box underneath the (now slightly bulky but still movable) 1200 ? |
Vincent Posts:3895 | September 06, 2005, 07:39:57 PM I know you can use the blank keys in AB3DII :-D |
PaSha Posts:537 ![]() | September 01, 2005, 04:23:42 PM I think you may find utilities on aminet that can be used for assigning functions to the blank keys, and commodities like YAK can probably use them too. |
Lemonty Posts:193 | August 30, 2005, 09:39:12 PM Could one assign functions to the blank keys? Like left shift and return? |
PaSha Posts:537 ![]() | August 30, 2005, 05:03:14 PM The two blank keys are blank on 96-key UK keyboards, but not on e.g. my Norwegian Keyboard. due to the fact that we have 29 letters in our alphabet, we need the extra keys. Some UK/US keyboards, notably earlier ones, only have 94 keys, and instead of the two blanks the left SHIFT key and the Return key are bigger. At some point in time, C= probably figured out that it was cheaper to only make 96-key keyboards and stick blank caps on the unused keys for UK/US. -Paul Edit: on http://www.amiga.org/gallery/photo.php?lid=175 and http://www.amiga.org/gallery/index.php?n=713 you can see what the 94-key kb's look like. |
Vincent Posts:3895 | August 30, 2005, 03:54:35 PM Every UK A1200D that I've seen has those 2 blank keys. As far as I know it's perfectly normal :-D |
Guest | August 30, 2005, 12:01:21 PM Some friends at a1k.org did notice that there where blank keys on it... I didnt notice it befor. lol ( i dont use it, its kept in a dark closed room ) DOes anybody know why are those keys blank? Has anyone else similar keyboard. |
