				Description: Of all the big-box Amigas, the A4000T is the most battery-friendly. After removing a dead coin battery, it is a simple matter to install a lithium battery pack. There are pins on the mobo for this purpose. The coin battery connectors (not shown) can be clipped off or simply ignored.

| x56h34 Posts:2921  | September 02, 2005, 03:01:04 PM I think that it was your original A.org post about this solution that made me do the same. :-) I've completely desoldered the old battery and bought one of these safer lithium replacements. I think I even mounted it in the same spot on the case as you have. :-D It seems like a more user-friendly solution, especially when the time comes to replace the battery again. Hopefully, the A4000T will still be alive by that time. :nervous:  |
