Description: Ripped this beauty from a defective Thin Client (A Compaq evo T30), it's a 256MB Flash Drive and works like a charm. It has a standard 44Pin IDE interface, it was just a question of plugging in, partitioning and formatting. Sooooo cool to have a 1200 which is completely silent :-D

adolescent Posts:3056 | August 24, 2005, 01:32:42 AM Yeah, give that miggy a shave. BTW, how is the speed? And, do they come in larger sizes (ie. 1GB). My IBM/Hitachi drive is super quiet, but something like this would be great to have. |
Tahoe Posts:971 | August 21, 2005, 09:27:42 PM Thanx, was given this A1200 of which only the mainboard was salvagable (even the keyboard was phisically broken)... This is now just a testboard, must say I haven't taken the time to clean it (of other people's (or cat's) hairs...) |
