rkauer Posts:3263 | January 05, 2008, 08:44:41 PM I strongly suggest you to put one of those slot-fans at the side of the scandoubler, it run very hot (and put it with the component side turned to bottom of the case don't alleviate the problem)... |
PaSha Posts:537 ![]() | August 18, 2005, 04:58:41 PM Check out http://www.amiga.org/gallery/index.php?n=1090 for a wider look. What I've done: I ripped the scandoubler out of it's casing, and mounted it on a ('L'?)bracket to neatly fit it to a slot at the rear of the amiga, and feed the signal from the RGB output with a cable (external) to the scandoublers input. The scandoublers output is fed to the BMon monitor switcher with a VGA-cable, on which I have mounted a 10-pin IDC-connector (same kind as IDE/Floppy, but with only 10-pins) in the other end. -Paul |

PaSha Posts:537 ![]() | August 16, 2005, 02:51:36 PM Oh, sorry. The signal is fed from the 23-pin RGB port to the 23-pin input of the scandoubler on the outside with a short loop cable (voodoo/voodoo2-style if you ever had one of those). The beige connector on the r/h side feeds the scandoublers output to the BMon switcher. -Paul |
X-ray Posts:4370 ![]() | August 15, 2005, 09:40:56 PM What is the signal chain? What I mean is, I am not quite grasping where you picked up the standard 15kHz signal inside, and how you got it to the scandoubler (I presume to the beige connector at the right of the pic?) |
