Description: This is a pic of a friend's ipod connected to my A3000. An icon IPOD pop's up on the workbench, and you can use it as a regular hard disk.

Transfering mp3's needs special software, though...

You mean AAC instead of ACC, and furthermore iPods *do* play (use?) mp3s. At least mine do!

iPod doesnt use Mp3's it uses ACC

Transferring MP3s needs special software? So it doesn't show up properly as a mass storage device?   :-?

Do you need special software because it's a Shuffle and it uses some special arrangement of files?

This is one neat A3000's bottom. Are you using the clockport of an XSurf to connect your USB board ?
