AMC258 Posts:877 ![]() | February 13, 2008, 11:09:36 PM This is put to waste in a 4000, as it is the only option for OS4 in a 2000! |

Lemmink Posts:739 ![]() | July 18, 2006, 03:30:02 PM There should be 20-30 of them around. They were given to keydevelopers by P5 before they started the production of the real CSPPC, so they could start developing PPC software beforehand. They hoped this way there would be a huge amount of PPC software available when the CSPPC/BPPC went on sale. History shows that they were a little bit wrong about this. The developers were to give those cards back to P5. Some did, some didn't. The majority endet up in DCEs posession that sold them one by one over Ebay (I got mine dirt cheap at only 60 EUR incl. P&P becaus the description said you needed special software that is not included. After asking the seller it turned out that the "special Software" is just the WarpOS version that comes with OS 3.9). It is one of the slowest PPCs available for the Amiga as it is only a 603 at 150 MHz and it only has a 32bit RAM-interface. It's OK for jpeg viewers and Quake I though. |

djbase Posts:996 | June 23, 2005, 12:52:17 PM Yes it does you have just to set to Developer Board during installation. |
x56h34 Posts:2921 | June 22, 2005, 04:15:49 PM I always wanted one of those (even though I have a CSPPC). :-) I've heard that warpup works just as well as it does with the regular PPC cards. |
