Which hand has the best technique? My vote goes to number 3.

He must be right-handed. He seems to have more of those...

Jeez, surely you all know the Bug was the best joystick ? They sure took some hammer (and then failed miserably)

he probably plays Dungeons & Dragons(tm) too and believes that he is a great and powerful Wizard with thousand's of hitpoints.

@DrWho

Wizards don't have thousands of hit points. They get 1d4 per level, up to level 11 (1st Edition), +1 hp per level afterwards, 10th level (2nd Edition), +1 hp per level afterwards and in that {bleep} game of 3rd Edition (3.5 now) they get 1d4 per level period.

The maximum bonus hit points per Constitution is +2 for a Con of 16 or higher, since they're not fighers. That means the maximum number of hit points for a wizard would be 91 hit points for a 1st edition Magic User, 70 hit points for a 2nd Edition Wizard (renamed from magic user),with the 'maximum' level of 20 and 120 hit points for a 3rd Edition Wizard (I'm not totally sure on this last one, 'cos I only play 3rd Edition in NWN, since the PnP is crap.)

for sheer pleasure, the original Atari sticks were the best: shame about the plastic ring though.

Looks like you don't want to challenge this dude at any arcade game, he seems to have an unfair advantage :-D

Actually it looks more like "Burger" Bill Heineman.  One of the programmers on Bards Tale 3.

I remember the 1978 vintage Atari sticks that used to creak whenever you moved the stick and how my thumb used to ache after repeated pressing of the fire button.

Plugging my Competition Pro 5000 (RIP) into my vintage Atari 2600 seemed a little unfair, especially when I used the Autofire on Space Invaders.

shame about the plastic ring though.

I went to college with a chap called James King who had some sort of rectal microsurgery, your last line reminded me of a short ditty dedicated to him....

Hoya!

Nah, the best joystick ever was the QuickShot 2 Turbo!
Fast, responsive, elegant, sturdy.
Years ago I remember dreaming of having a joystick called Cobra. It was true monster!
30 cm, i.5 kilos and it was modeled after a plane's controller... I would LOVE to have one!

As for AD&D... Well, I agree that MANY RPG players are geeks but I am an avid RPG player myself and surely NOT a spotty, fat geek! :-P

Be funky

You know, I don't intend to be mean, but, it's images like this one that give us geeks a bad name. The image of this overweight, Coke-Bottle glasses wearing, a-sexual, pastey-faced kid who hasn't seen the sun in two years, he probably plays Dungeons & Dragons(tm) too and believes that he is a great and powerful Wizard with thousand's of hitpoints.

And yes, there is also something spooky about all the hands, who is under that table?
