Description: A comparison between the Amiga serial port and a "standard" PC 25 Pin serial port, made with the help of the "Hardware Book". Note that A1200 Port Junior Serial interfaces have an identical pinout to the standard 25 Pin PC serial port (Info courtesy VMC), omitting all of the extra audio/power rails that the Amiga serial port provides. A general rule of thumb would state that PC serial devices *ought to* work on a Amiga serial port, but many serial devices intended or converted to work on the Amiga *probably wont* work on a PC serial port due to the lack of power rails, etc. Oh, and if through the use of this information you blow something up/damage/alter etc... something I accept no responsibility... :-D Hodgkinson.
