I have the old Lyra (1 ?) and recognized some days a little delay pressing the keys when I played Slamtilt. Thought it could be the problem playing it on an DLP projector but having a Cinemateq scaler between the A1200 and the projector.

I think I have to try it once without the scaler and once also on the old Philips CM 8833 to be sure Lyra is the reason for this problem.

Thanks for the feedback. This is pretty good as, at least, the bugs seem consistent and 100% reproducible, which should help fix them :-) Well, stll, strange no one seemed aware of this before ?

@ Borut : hmm, there is actually no delay at all on my setup (Lyra 2) with Slam Tilt or any other game. Actually, most games work completely perfectly, but some (those 3 pinball games) are completely unplayable.

I have to apologise. Tested the game again and everything was fine. Probably there was a problem with a demo that I watched before.
So like You said Slamtilt and Lyra together have no problems.

Somehow I had missed Pinball Prelude WHD-version, so tried that and guess what...keyboard delays there also. Strange it affects these pinball games so heavily.

Any progress with this? Have you confronted more games with this issue? Sometimes with Lyra (using PC keyboard) I can reboot my miggy with just CTRL-Amiga (two-finger-salute) or just CTRL or Amiga reboots the computer. This has happened a couple of times. I was just editing some text with a text-editor and wanted to get '#' from the keyboard - instead I got a reset.
Entering conf mode (SHIFT-PAUSE) I can make the KB act normally again, until it goes nuts in a random-timeframe.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I experienced this once at the very beginning, but, some stuff was unfinished on my cab so I'm not sure it's Lyra related....

As I only play games on this machine, I only noticed the problem on the 3 pinballs, so far. But please continue to share you issues with us here, so we can try to reproduce them and report back to Jens !

Thanks !

I also have a Lyra 2 on my A1200 and can replicate the Obsession Pinball problem. I wonder if it's due to slightly dodgy level 2 interrupt routines?

Now that Pinball Prelude new WHDLoad-version starts OK, I can confirm that it has this same problem, VERY laggy input from Lyra and very quickly goes to a state where it accepts no input at all.

Thanks for the feedback. Meanwhile, I found one more incompatible game : Ultimate Pinball Quest.

Has Jens given any feedback on this? Any new games with similar problems?

The Arkanoid-issue was fixed with a new WHDLoad slave that has modified keyboard handling :).

I'm pretty sure I have this same problem with Super Stardust AGA.  You have to press the space bar while playing to bring up your weapon selection screen.  I have to press the space bar sometimes ten times for it to finally pop up, while trying not to get hit by an asteroid.
