I just use towels also. This is my A1200 daily driver I bought about 10 years ago from Italy. Still white as ever. The towel is medium thickness and is always in place when the A1200 is not in use. The mouse is always under the towel too. I like AmigaKit’s cover but If I get one I would probably put the cover over the towel anyway.

There's a new idea for Amiga-branded stuff: Towels!

AmigaKit?

Best regards,

Niels

That's a GREAT idea! Sell in sets of 5 each! All 5 different. Make them very colorful like the Amiga.org logo. Horizontal and Vertical models - verticals to hang in the guest bath!

@paul1981 - my FAV wireless card! Got mine for $6.00 on ebay - brand new still shrink wrapped. Then ebay'ers found out that they are great for Amigas and the prices shot to $50.00+.

@broadblues - LOL

@AmigaOldskooler - Yeah! Show us your towel! LOL

@TribbleSmasher - Right! NO smelly (or stained) towels allowed! EWE....

The card is a Netgear MA-401 (16bit - you can't use a 32bit card). There are 3 of them on eBay right now. Keep in mind, if you buy a brand new one in the box, you will have to flash the firmware as, out of the box, it only supports WEP & WPA. NOT WPA2, which is essential. I used my old Thinkpad 600 w/WinXP to flash the card (software is still available) as the PCMCIA slot is 16bit. Also, I use AmiTCP with AmigaKit's EasyNet software (using the Prism2.device). IMO, the software is very easy to use (there are many other software choices though).

Here's a link for the card....  ;)

Here's a link to Netgear's support page....
