Nuclear War.

You will soon forget the minor irritation of a hangover.

You wan´t to play computergames when you have a hang over?:-o

That would probably be among the last things I would think of doing when I have a hang over but maybe you should play a calm game as you don´t want to get upset (especially as you probably have a headake). Maybe a game of Battlechess or Powerstyx?

Play Klondike III AGA without a flicker fixer. Cringe as a wrong move is greeted by an ugly, high latency flash of retina-penetrating montor full of orange. Sure to cause you serious discomfort after a night on the piss. Which is surely the entire point, cause I'm f**ked if I can see another!

I used to find that a game of Cannon Fodder would take my mind off a hangover, for some reason. Also Alien Breed 3D was a good cure for taking my mind off things, probably the atmosphere of the game and the satisfaction of shooting things!

Switch over to Marijuana, you live longer, and you won't get sick! :)

But if you must indulge yourself with that poison, I'd say...

I rather have a spongy liver than a spongy brain. And I rather sleep of a headake in my bed than sleeping of a high in the slammer.

No action games
Needing to use your reflexes is no good when having a hangover.
Rather play Monkey Island or equal (weird) adventure
Your brain is more able to find weird solutions when having a hangover.

Depends on the hangover.  If I'm on spirits then it's a case of having a very sore head and feeling like death warmed up.

Turrican fits the bill - with the sound turned down of course.  If I'm in a really bad way then its Doom.

If I'm on beer then I'll be dehydrated and sluggish, so a decent flight sim is my choice.  Either that or it'll be something like Civilization or Warlords because I get so absorbed in them I forget about my fragile state of health.

Bobs Bad Day would be good for making you feel worse. Bright colours, spinning screen...
