Help with WinUAE HardDisk
« on: August 13, 2011, 05:31:26 PM »
Hi,

I was messing around with WinUAE yesterday (usually for games) and I thought it would be great to install/mount DH0: I never really tryed installing a Harddrive, I was wondering if I could get some help creating a WinUAE hardfile for DH0:

I am using WinUAE (2.3.2) under Windows Vista (SP2) and was using this as a reference;
http://www.mameworld.info/easyemu/winuaeguide/uae-hdd.htm

I followed the instructions entered a size of 240MB but asks for "You must select a file" ..
I enter a folder for the path but says the same thing..

Any Ideas on what I am doing wrong ? Any help is greatly appreciated :D

You don't have to make a hardfile. You can select a folder which acts as a harddrive.

+1!

By using a directory instead of a hardfile you can edit the AOS system files from you host operating system if you make a mistake with your Workbench setup.
