Rare NewTek Video "Freedom"Now Available on Open Video Toaster.org

Everyone has seen the famous Revolution video that NewTek gave away for free to launch the Video Toaster but most don't know about it's sequel "Freedom". This video heralded the release of the Amiga Flyer card that gave the Video Toaster it's tapeless video editing features. This rare and relativity unknown video is now available for your viewing pleasure on openvideotoaster.org.

This video features many famous celebrities like Dick Van Dyke, Walter Wiliams (Mr Bill) and Ron Thornton promoting the Amiga Video Toaster Flyer and LightWave 3D.

It helps launch the new openvideotoaster.org that looks more modern and now fits into the same theme as DiscreetFX.com.

Open Video Toaster started in 2004 with a basic crappy looking website that did what was intended, make the source code to the Amiga Video Toaster available to Amiga fans on the web.  Here is what it looked like back then.

In 2007 thanks to a volunteer Tom Richardi it got a face lift and looked better.

Now in the next two weeks a new look and feel will be rolled out for the site. Most of it is already done. Unfortunately the source-code to the Amiga version of LightWave 3D was not included with the Amiga Video Toaster code. But now you have the option to buy Aladdin 4D which supports both the Amiga Video Toaster 4000 and the Flyer.

To celebrate the new site the Open Video Toaster Bonus CD will only be a 1 Euro Instant Download for a limited time. Please enjoy and spread the word. Most have never seen this unavailable video until today. We hope you like the higher tech and easier to use OVT site.
