Debugging in WinUAE
« on: April 16, 2004, 01:14:43 PM »
I've heard Enforcer will not work with WinUAE. What I'd like to do is run some sort of debugging software that can tell me what line in my source code causes the crashes in my program. GDB for OS4 would do the job nicely, but this solution is not available to me yet. Anyone got any suggestions? I'm using GCC 2.95.3 .. if that helps.

Yup, Enforcer won`t work cos UAE doesn`t emulate an MMU.
Have a look in the 'Amiga Programs' dir on WinUAE, there should be a program called WinUAEenforcer.
If you can`t find it, pm me your email address and I`ll send it to you.
On schedule, and suing

The prerelease has gone gold.. so I might just wait for that now. Run it on my A1. Thanks for the info though.
