8B/10B Encoding
« on: March 09, 2006, 10:54:28 AM »
Has anyone written a trackdisk device that uses 8B/10B encoding rather than MFM?  If I'm not mistaken, that could increase the capacity of a normal DD disk by 400k to 500k!!!
