No, it's not beside the point. This bug only happens in Snow Leopard, which only runs on x86. MorphOS only runs PPC. So you can thank god for MorphOS but if you own a Mac that is vurnable to this bug, MorphOS won't save you at all.

Err, no. Because this bug only happens on Snow Leopard, which in turn only runs on x86, MorphOS won't save you. Why? Because MorphOS doesn't run on x86. So you can't run Snow Leopard and MorphOS on the same machine.

But if you really want to praise MOS some more, I'll give you an argument that sticks. This SL bug has to do with user management, which MOS doesn't have. So this could never happen to MOS.

Yeah, this is a very silly bug and seriously bad when it happens to you! But it seems to only happen under very specific circumstances (IIRC upgrade 10.5.x to SL and then do the login order you descibed).
