I've been trying the last hour and it acts dead. As if the site was never there. Somehow Google still finds it. Then again Google is known to be buggy by finding pages that don't exist.

Google finds pages in its cache/database even some time after they do not exist anymore

Updated means renewed? I do not think so.

Status is: clientHold

that means the owner can renew it in a 30 days period, then it is blocked 5 days where noone can do anything and then it is free (mostly grabbed by domain-robbers)

Well, maybe I focused on the wrong thing when I read "Expiration Date: 22-may-2015", I just assumed that the update of the DNS record with this info meant that the domain had been renewed for another year.

I understand now that this is a temporary year given by the registry in order to allow the domain name to still remain registered even though the domain has expired, pending payment. Silly me! ;)

We decided to change the system and run the website of a Sinclair ZX81 and as a result the web pages are rather slow to pop up and many browsers are timing out.  :)

Hopefully it will be sorted soon.  Meanwhile, extra traffic for Amiga.org!  :D

I think i still have a old C64 somewhere. You could create a "server farm" with both :)

What is the deal with this? There is no info on this thread about the truth of the situation! It's pretty unprofessional if it's the whole "we haven't paid our hosting fees!" problem

Any info?

The site has been renewed (for 3 years).  Just waiting for the DNS servers to catch up.  Type in the direct web address (85.25.152.36) and you'll connect.

Don't worry, it won't be long now.  Just a simple oversight and the "truth" is available on this site on the "non-news" thread that has dropped off the front page, because like magnetic, I agree that this isn't "news".
