ROFL that looks like no scene party I've seen before, it looks more like the school chess club meeting.
A couple of dozen smartly dressed men sitting in an immaculate room with immaculate white tablecloths typing on their immaculate $2000 laptops, and not a single C64 to be seen.
The only American scener I know of is Jessikaa but she doesnt actually "do" anything in the scene that I'm aware of (code/gfx/ascii/music...) she's just "there".
I don't really know why it is that the USA doesn't have a scene like we do in Europe (they even call demos "EuroDemos" over there, like its a Europe-specific thing).
