If you have the ACA500+, just use the built-in KS 3.1, and use the built-in WB 3.1 disk images to install a virgin WB 3.1 on a CF card. Easy, cheesy, lemon squeezy. I do this on  my 1000 and it works great with WHDLoad.

Yeah, so did I until I updated the firmware. Make sure you have the latest: http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/ACA500plus_Firmware

keep the CF card in the AUX slot formatter as FAT so you can put it in your PC/Mac and copy files back and forth.
