I recently sent some gear to Anthony and had the pleasure of speaking with him over the phone.

Lovely fellow. Very knowledgeable and reasonably fast turnaround - especially considering he works a full time job.

However, one thing I should warn prospective clients of. He is very expensive. He uses quality components and does a great job, but he sometimes goes ahead with repairs that end up costing MORE than the actual item being repaired is worth! For instance, how many people would willingly agree to spend $225.00 refurbishing a working A1000 PSU?! That's right, a psu that is working fine, but I thought why not get the caps replaced to keep it that way. I was taken back a little by the 3" fan that cost $50.00, however I must say I was not prepared for the final bill.

Anywho, I think the moral here is always request a quotation BEFORE any works are carried out.

Having said that, his work is top notch, just make sure you understand the cost of refurb/repairs before you proceed.
