well heres my results with a voodoo3 in mediator 4000di
seems my setup is still a little faster except of some intuition functions. from ur specs it looks like u managed to allocate some gfx memory as system ram (an option i dont know much about), hence the alltogether system speed inreased, but not the graphics.

best

Although it has 64mb memory, the Amiga can only access 32mb, but my, it certainly makes a difference!

The 5500 has two GPUs, 32 MB each, so as long as you don't utilize SLI there's only 32 MB available. Even in SLI mode you'd have to copy textures into both RAM segments, so it wouldn't be like 64 MB anyway. :-)

IIRC the A1200 mediator boards can only access 8mb of GFX card memory. This negates the benefits of using ANY card with >8mb RAM.

From memory doesn't it access it in banks of 8MB ?

@ddniUK

That's not correct.

32meg can be used on the Voodoo 5500.
I have a 64 meg Radeon and all of that is used.
Depends on the card.

All available memory is used on the Radeon cards but only half on the Voodoo 5500.
