New monitor
« on: July 16, 2012, 10:10:05 PM »
Just broke down and bought a new monitor. It's an AOC e2243Fw that I got one sale at Best buy (of all places). It was only $111.97 - not bad for a 23" LED monitor.
It has a great display when used on my Windows machine. Since I have no SC/FF right now I can't test it, to see if it works on the Amigas.
For the specs, and quality of the display the closest monitor I could find was over $50.00 more.

A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

Well, it's actually 21.5" and then 55 -75 Hz, so no PAL modes without an Indivision.

If you want to be precise it's 22" and I could care less about PAL compatibility....  All of the Amiga software I have (games included) is NTSC.
It seems many of the 23" monitors fall short - from NEC, to LG, to Samsung.
