MorphOS 3.1 installation on Efika
« on: September 11, 2012, 06:17:41 PM »
After booting using a USB stick and downloading the iso image, iWizard still refuses to unghost/enable the Install button.

Perhaps I'm setting up the drives wrong? There doesn't seem to be any documentation (or automatic partition setup) for Efika.

You can always choose manual partitioning in installer, create some 2GB for system, divide the rest as you want. I recommend SFS filesystem for all the partitions. Then format system partition (you can format other ones later, after installation) and install on it.

In the Edit Partition dialog's Filesystem pop-down menu there is no SFS. I formatted it as Fat32o (the same as the USB stick that booted the installer) and named it MorphOS, set as bootable, but no luck, the Install button is still ghosted as you can see in the image. I believe the top part, which is blank, *should* display partitions on which MOS can be installed - see pic...
