Title: .dms disk images in MorphOS
Post by: Matt_H on June 29, 2014, 03:36:43 PM
I'm sure I used to be able to do this, but now I'm having trouble. Can anyone advise me on how to mount .dms images in MorphOS? FileImageCtrl and Ambient both choke when trying to open them.

Snoopium reports that the system is trying to find trackdisk.device and openpci.library, but bad things happen to the system with those installed (v2.1 PPC of openpci and the Pegasos II trackdisk driver; actual machine is a Mac mini).

Thanks for any ideas...

Bump.

I found a workaround by using the old 68K diskimage.device and DiskImageCtrl, but it would be nice to do this PPC-native...

I used to use my peg1 and catweasel mkIII to dumb DMS files to actual floppies.. I can still do it now but things are better with Peg2 + CW IV. Especially with the built in support in os4!
