Title: Mac Mini with Morphos
Post by: Honkybear on April 16, 2013, 09:39:30 PM
I acquired a Mac Mini yesterday with OSX 10.4.10 1.42Ghz 512Meg Ram Power PC G4
I then proceeded to burn a copy of Morhos fron the website> I followed the website instructions and all that happens is that it boots into OSX. The CD shows MorphosOSBoot. I even tried booting by holding down the ALT key to no avail. I'm obviously doing something wrong just not sure what. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

Turn off the Mac with the CD inside the machine.
Hold down the letter 'C' on your keyboard and turn the machine back on.
Keep the key held down until you see the MorphOS boot screen.

Failing that, you should check the ISO image isn't corrupt at a terminal in osx:

Code: [Select]
openssl md5 morphos-3.1.iso

It should return the value:
Code: [Select]

The Mac can be pretty picky about keyboards early in the boot sequence, too. Try to plug in a plain ol' USB keyboard - no wireless, no bluetooth, no KVM switchers.
