I'll leave some questions for the real experts...
ADF are Amiga disk volumes, you can unpack them on amiga using one of the ADF->disk utilities.
I've heared about adfblitzer (it's listed)- myself i use ADF2DISK check this page of aminet.org:

As for LHA see it as ZIP or any other type of compression.
(except the 1001 little differences)
Transfer... by disk or link. There are a lot of treads covering this-search around.
Floppy is the most basic, else you get the (slow) serial connection, or you can splash out with a Ethernetcard and start a network.

WHDload is a program for running disk-based games from your HD. It's designed for games that have no standard installer included.
It's a type of support program that allows the installed program to run of your HD.
You need to install the package-tehn you can run the games.
Aminet - whdload search So i'd say - download WHDload program, install it and keep your fingers crossed ;-)
