Huh? I thought the SCA was a bunch guys dressing up in armour and pounding each other with padded clubs... where do the baby dolls come in?

Padded weapons are Markland.  SCA (pronouced Scaids by some) doesn't bother with padding or calling most blows either. :-)

Yes, both of your thoughs apply. We don't use weaponized crowbars, but rattan staves of at least 1.25 inches.
