Post by: Staticman on August 13, 2003, 01:19:27 PM
does anyone know if anyone out there is busy porting duke nukem 3d to the amiga?
other ports that would be welcome but which seem tio have been abandoned in the past would be the hexen games and final doom

I heard something about a port of DN3D to the Amiga, but I guess it'll ship at around the same time as DN Forever will :-)

DukeNuke'em IS ported but only in the Atomic Edition version...

Amiga Nuke port (http://www.neoscientists.org/~dante/)

Is available for MorphOS and 68k for amiga...

I think there is a MAC OS X version there too...

The sources for the first Alien Versus Predator game are available; that'd be a great game to see on the A1 or even classic rig...

This one (http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/sc/showcase_showentry.pl?id=Mack05172002132028&comments=no) should prove interesting, and the source is included in the download archive.

Hi!

There is also a WOS-version (I think no sound yet,
but I did not try it yet) and I think also an OS 4 version.

AvP would be quite some work due to the usage of
DirectX... sure, not impossible... but really quite some work...
