Or, you could just tell us your "surprising and welcome" information here so we don't have to waste tens/hundreds of megabytes to find out.
By the same logic, maybe they should stop publishing Amiga Future and just post the articles here.

Look, if the "surprising and welcome" information is really important, I'm sure we'll hear about it soon enough anyway.

Best regards,

Niels

Hi all

Think the wiki is wrong "in 2012 Amiga inc completed transfer of copyrights to Cloanto" ???? Should that not be 2019 ?

Licensing rights[edit]
In 2010 Commodore USA announced they acquired the rights to the Amiga name and relaunch Amiga branded desktops running AROS[17] and Linux ,[18] which however Hyperion Entertainment promptly disputed,[19] on the basis of a 2009 settlement agreement between Hyperion and Amiga Inc. After legal threats from Hyperion due to conditions in the Amiga Inc. settlement that they are now subject to as an Amiga licensee, Commodore USA later droped their AROS plans and announce on their relaunched website, that they will create a new OS called AMIGA Workbench 5.0 (name changed to Commodore OS since Workbench was owned by Cloanto), which was later revealed will be based on Linux.[20]
In 2011, Amiga Inc. licensed the brand name to Hong Kong based manufacturer IContain Systems, Ltd.[21]
In 2012, Amiga Inc. completed transfer of copyrights to Cloanto.[22][23]

A special Episode of 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast. It starts as a clarification of the Amiga drama from last week involving Individual Computers, and ends with some surprising and welcome information from Mike from Cloanto! The new owner of the Amiga IP.

I have a rare mid-week 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast. I took the new "Chocolate Lagoon" parody video from the awesome people at Bad Lip Reading and converted it to HAM6 video format to play back on real Amiga's! It plays perfect on my ACA500+ Amiga running at 14 Mhz. Check it out!

Then what would the point of me making a 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast video about it? It's kinda what I do, friend.

This week, my A1200 gets some well deserved love. I don't use it much because of annoying keyboard issues, half its guts were hanging out the sides, and the CF card was SLOW! Join me as I fix all of that and make the little guy purr like a kitten!

Slow AGA in 128/256/HAM8? Use FBlit and FText. Makes a HUGE difference on my setup. Even on double scan screen modes the 256 colour screens are quite fast comparatively. On PAL screens 256 colour mode is really really fast. I'd think any Amiga > 68020 25MHz would begin to benefit at a guess, but I've only ever used it on an 060. There's FScreen as well which takes it even further, but I know little about it and I heard it causes problems (this was about 10 years ago I looked into that).
