Aladdin 4D 6.0 required major heart and guts surgery to make it multi-platform and ready. It was neglected for ten years before we got it.  I agree, better to get it right then to release a problem.

 In the old days a lot of programmers released problems after it was hyped up.
 It was the #1 reason so many users left
