Why aren't you just using the "supertuxkart" package available in Debian [1]? Does the X1000 run stock Debian (Ubuntu PPC)? If yes, then you should be able to just install the Debian package.

Or does your version include some additional optimizations?

Cheers,

Adrian

The Debian package has some bugs. For example wrong colors.

Would you mind reporting these bugs against the package in Debian if they haven't been reported yet? We are striving for a high level of quality assurance and we'd highly appreciate to get feedback from our users and other developers.

If your mail daemon is correctly configured for sending mail, all you need is:

Code: [Select]

reportbug supertuxkart

and follow the instructions on screen.

I've built STK with AltiVec optimization and with bug fixes for the AmigaOne X1000. There are also a backport by the OpenPandora version for weaker PPC Linux machines available with AltiVec optimization and bug fixes.

Sounds interesting. We'd be highly interested in such patches in Debian as well. You can also file those to the bug tracker or you make sure those are included in the upstream sources.

Thanks,

Adrian
