and a few OS4 diehards cough up their usual "we will never buy MorphOS because of you"

I will never buy armorphaos4 because of you... :D

I never let anyone one else influence my buying decisions.
I'm using an Apple and Steve Jobs was an arrogant knob.

Do I care?
No, I'm using for a better purpose then OSX anyway.

And you might not buy MorphOS, but I might buy OS4 (and I don't like Hyperion or Hans and his brother either).

Well I guess if you count my old Pegasos II I got new I already have(included with purchase.) . ;)  But I just figured I would smash all three in to one word and have fun. :)

Ah, I just figured you liked tweaking grandma's nose.
He seems a little thin skinned.

Nice purchase!
Keep in mind that the best video card you can use in it is a Radeon 9800Pro (the XT won't work).
And neither OS4 or MorphOS has 3D drivers for that card (who says these two OS' are that different).

Signing out early tonight (no doubt much to the relief of some).

Going for a beer and don't want to be accused of a "wet Monday" again.

Cheers all!

So please, count me out from your color games, I don't really want to participate.

If you *REALLY* mean this, if you are actually genuinely sincere, then make the first move:

Get rid of your signature up to "MorphOS is Amiga done right!"

It's that simple. If you're really not a "troll" then you'll get rid of your trite jab at OS4 in your signature. That is, if you really don't have a "color."

After all, that is what you're saying, right? That you have a preference, but you haven't picked a side.

Personally, I don't think you'll do it, though.

Well said!

Many people will disagree with this ridiculous "MorphOS is Amiga done right!" nonsense, because how is a MACINTOSH an Amiga? Really, how is this hard to understand?

Ugh, that is *NOT* what I meant, at all.....

I don't give a sh!t that MorphOS uses Apple products. The fact is, he's taking an OS4 users comments and turning them into a sales pitch for his "side" or preference. This isn't a dig at TMHG. This is an *HONEST* attempt to try to make him understand *WHY* people consider him a "troll."

I, honestly, have no preference. I never chose a side. I just come here, 'cos I love Amigas, the OS and a lot of people on here.

If you wanna make cracks about MorphOS, or AROS or OS4, don't drag me into it, by taking something I said, with genuine sincerity and use it as a dig at something you don't like.

Thank you.

Yeah man, I'm hurt.
I find my self so conflicted most of the time because I've always sincerely disliked Steve Jobs.
But this is the best affordable PPC stuff out there so I'm changing part of my signature.

I think it's sad we are evoking racism because some people prefer a blue butterfly over a red boing ball.

I missed that part Kesa.
So far, I thought I was the only "monkey" around here.

While I find the X1000 interesting, the logic in spending 3 grand for a sub G5 performance system doesn't add up.

And you expect people in general to be primarily logical actors?

How about people on an Amiga board? :)
