WTB: Lightwave manuals
« on: May 09, 2015, 06:07:46 PM »
Hi all,

I used to have manuals for Lightwave 5.5/5.6.  Must have gotten rid of them.  Has anybody got manuals for Lightwave 5.x they'd sell?

Thanks

No extra manuals, but a link to a good PDF guide if it's useful to you...

Hi:

Wouldn't it be possible to call Newtek and ask them for a set of manuals ?

They'll just tell you to download the PDF.  Nobody keeps printed manuals anymore, lol. :p

Sorry, I don't want to sell, but I managed to find a Lightwave5.5 manual for $1 at my local op shop a little while back.
Was quite rapt  :-)
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Hey, thanks for the link.  Looks good.

It would still be nice to find the 5.x manual again, to cover things like subdivision modeling or NURBS and the newer character animation features.  But this will be good for getting my feet wet again.
