1084 monitor
« on: November 12, 2009, 11:00:38 PM »
Sorry about the mistake but it's actually a 1080, the monitor that came with the 1000.

I have a 1084 monitor manufacture November 1985.
It works but the vertical height control was modified by a previous owner and it broke off.
I still have the control/replacement button.
Is anybody interested in this monitor?
I can post pictures if required...

I'm located in Ontario, Canada.

I'm in Ontario, Canada and I'm guessing postage to Belfast would make it not worth it.  I'm willing to give it away as I have 2 other newer 1084s.

Hi,
it might be a 470K ohm "logarithmic" or "linear" potentiometer, avaible in all good electronic parts shop. Take it off and they will find you the good one.
Keep the Faith !

Thanks for the info.  I know the repair is not a big deal.  It's just that I'm going to be moving and I have 2 1084s besides the 1080.
