Any products that I make come with a lifetime warranty. Just send it back to me if it needs repair. Also, our relationship doesn't end after you hand over the money. I will always be willing to answer any e-mail and help out where I can :-)

You can click here AmiBay to see a sample of some cables I have made for other friendly customers.

Standard ATX to Amiga 500/600/1200, A3000D, A4000D (all wire is 18AWG unless stated otherwise)

*A500/600/1200 - AUD$15 (1m/3ft)
*A600/1200 - AUD$12 (Grey 4-core cable, perfectly suited to A600/1200 stock power requirements - rated @4.5A per core - 1m/3ft)
*A3000D - AUD$25 (only 3 connectors left in stock) - 50cm/1.5ft
*A4000D - AUDI$20 (only 8 connectors left in stock) - 50cm/1.5ft

Standard 4-pin molex (HD & CD-ROM) power connector to CD32 or BSC/AlfaData A500 AlfaPower IDE & GVP A500 SCSI HD controllers

How do you use this cable? Just plug one end into a free connector on an existing PSU!

The cables below are made with the 4-core cable, with each core rated at 4.5A. This is more than enough for these applications.

*CD32 - AUD$12 (1m/3ft)
*BSC/AlfaData AlfaPower A500 IDE or GVP SCSI A500 HD controllers - AUD$15 (1m/3ft)

All prices include up to 1m/3ft of cable. You can customise the length. Any less than 1m/3ft, same price. Any more - I'll have to get out the calculator!

Postage/Shipping Rates via standard air mail (all prices inc. mailing box)

Australia wide - AUD$5.75

UK - AUD$11.85
U.S.A. - AUD$10.35
Other - will more than likely from my experience be one of the above, but you can check here Australia Post (0-250g)

You may request insurance, registered etc, but it will be extra, and you will have to pay for it.

How to Buy

Just PM, e-mail or post a reply on this thread, and tell me what you want - I'll then send you you a PayPal invoice for the total ;-) Once you have paid, I'll get to work and post it a.s.a.p.!

@all

PSU's don't last forever. Future proof your Amiga with one of these adapter cables ;-)

Silly question :-)

Is there a switch on the cable for turning the power off? Or do you just use the switch on the back of the PSU?

I'm thinking of a cable + PSU for my desktop a4k - will the PSU fit in the standard a4k desktop case? Will the power button on the front become ornamental afterwards? :-)

Hi,

Ditto - but for the A3000D. I guess any chance of an ATX PSU fitting in that case is completely out of the question though!!!

@all

I hard-wire the PS-ON to GND on the 20 PIN ATX connector, with a red loop of wire. This means that you don't need a switch of any kind. You could cut the loop and install a switch on there later if you wanted to. It is also a possibility that I can install a switch. You would then have to drill a hole (12mm) in your case to mount it though, which I'm sure you would not want to do? The switch would also add to the cost, not to mention the extra wire for it. The additional cost of adding a switch would be about AUD$8.

I recommend the case switch be disconnected/disabled, for safety. Yes, it would become a decoration, unless you connected it to the loop I suppose :-)

Thanks,

Nathan

Hi all,

Here are some photos of two of my cables. I will post more as I make them, and photograpgh them :-) The first one is the ATX to A3000D cable, and the second is for an A4000D. They are both 50cm/1.5ft long.

Hi all,

All my adapter cables are now in one place on my website

There are photos of most of the cables I offer there, as well as pricing, which is the same I think.
