The Vintage Amigan does sell good stuff - I bought my A4000 from him. Although Im amazed at how he comes across so many A4000's!!

It probably still works (who knows for how long though), i would never have bought it at even half the price with a leakage like that.

I dunno, with the right treatment that should be okay.  I had to clean and scrub the daylights out of mine.  The RTC circuit at least works, I've just never been buggered to replace the battery since the system sets via NTP at boot

Oh, and doesn't that 8MB mode only work with special SIMMs?  :crazy: (JUST KIDDING)
