I think a price around $1000 would be ok.

It's an AS-IS item. If it don't work, you just flushed that $1000 down the toilet. Sorry, but without any assurances at all of any kind that thing thing might actually work, then it's not worth more than a couple hundred $$. To me anyway. I paid $700 for one that I was assurred worked fine. A few years ago.

he is NOT doing anything wrong, you're just a sick jealous MF. He has the liberty to ask whatever price for his stuff as you have the liberty not to buy it. calling people names for this is just stupid.

I'm not calling him names, I was answering a very leading question with my opinion, and while you certainly have the right to disagree, your response lacks any reasoned argument, instead consisting of insults.

Sorry, but saying I am 'a sick jealous MF' is WAY OUT OF LINE. You are, for whatever reason, trying to bait me with your flame. I'm not going to go there.

@countzero

I'll second that. There are a lot of jealous people around here it seems.

Too bad it's so expensive.  The seller lives within driving distance for me; I might have considered buying it.  I've been wanting a card like that for my A4000T for a long time.  :-(

The sale price is only as stupid as the person who buys it at the end of the day.

He's only nuts if it doesn't sell. If it does, he's a genius.

No, actually, I don't care to, not unless I first get an explanation as to why you have been so rude as to insult me for expressing my opinion. Did I wrong you somehow, that I deserve to be the subject of your earlier profanity?

Yeah - that's fine a lesson in capitalism.
Demand and supply. Simple as that.
If good or bad might be another question. I guess he didn't invented capitalism, but he tries to use the system's limits. I think in the end that auction even could turn out quite instructive by showing where capitalism leads to.

oh no... this seller is far from mental, he is merely counting on the hope that there is a real mental out there who buys it  :-P

really can't blame him for trying people  :-D

For some, myself included, the use of the word "mental" in a derogatory manner is extremely offensive. I'm not saying that's what has upset countzero, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

I apologize; Any offense to you was unintentional. I honestly don't see how you can take offense to the usage in question, as the word is only defined as offensive when applied to some person or people who are actually suffering from a mental illness, which is NOT what I meant to state about this seller, but obviously your interpretation varies, so I'm sorry I offended you.
