These V1.06 will fit, it's low profile. The newer (A600) KS is needed to autoboot.

[d]I think there are no more IDE-boards left to sell.[/d]

EDIT: I have sent e-mail/p-mail to those who had made inquiries about the remaining boards.

EDIT: I put 4 pcs for sale at ebay.de

"how about offering next batch to resellers ie amigakit or vesalia?"

Maybe factory made run with rohs compliance, so the eu "feds" won't get after me.
Please people, don't lick the boards I've sent to you, they are made of leady NOS (new old stock) parts. (Which I've bought at prices lower than brand new lead-free parts might be at sellers like Digikey.)

I put mouse adapters for sale at eBay
I was going to order more ide PCBs, since there have been some interested people. I'll see if the next revision will be ready this week.

CompactFlash connector added in CFIDE68K version 188.link
I'll get the blank PCBs next week.
There will probably be a few pieces, built&tested, for sale for 50 euros + 10 euros for shipping.

So, with this I can *boot* from an IDE drive?  What are all the features?

How much for shipping to the U.S. and will it work on an A2500?

Thanks!

You'll need an A600 ks-rom in the socket, the inbuilt driver then boots from the drive. Price is 50 euros + 10 euros for registered airmail shipping + packing.

I think I'll make a 8MB ram board that can be stacked with ide-board and 68000 cpu.

I aim to finish a PCB design an order some proto PCB:s for an 8 Mbyte memory expansion in a few weeks or months.
The adapter will most likely be made of 8M x 8 bit 3.3 volt DRAM chips and two 3.3V CPLD chips for voltage conversion, data multiplexing, dram address and control signals and autoconfig(tm).

@mrmkl

The problem of a RAM board that is stacked is that if you add the IDE controller it will be too tall :-/

Amiga 500 TOWER system!

An Amiga A500 with lefthand expansion like Supra28accelerator and mem unit and hard drive and A570 was the width of an entire desk!(I've got all those things,not used in years,though.)

Once upon a time you could buy a kit to remote your A500 keyboard.

That's the reason I would prefer that everything fit inside the standard case. That's why I would prefer an A500 ram+ide board.

@Mika Leinonen
A friend of mine has a 12Mhz 68000 on his A500 with an asynchronous design he did (disk drive and other things work perfect without any additional software/hardware patch), even thought it will probably be trivial for you if you want I could ask him the schematics so your ram board also works as simple 68000 accelerator if the user wants (and has access to a faster 68000).
