Gav - I'd say there should be a 3rd category, as well. COLLECTOR and past enthusiast. I own quite a few real Amigas (10+? I'm not actually sure how many are in my collection right now...). I have a couple really nice setups and then some spares and some I've bought for some other reason. In all reality, I very rarely use them, though.
I mean, ranked by overall usage, no Amiga breaks the top 5:
(used daily)
1) TiVo (Series 2-DT - It has a wwwd, FTPd, and runs a Linux kernel... it's a computer, by my opinion.)
2) Win 2k3 media server (can stream video to the TiVo or play MP3s around the house, runs TiVo Desktop, etc.)
3) PocketPC (my portable brain - plus it can emulate an Amiga 500 or C64! Amazingly useful device!)
(used weekly)
4) XP Pro workstation (my main Workstation nowadays - has UAE installed, though I haven't used UAE on it in over a year.)
(used monthly)
5) an outdated laptop running Win2k (slow and annoying at times, but it is portable, and can download large amounts of camera images, etc... Also has UAE installed, but it not even a 1.x version!)
6) my A1200 w/ GVP '030 (retro fun)
7) my SGI Octane R10k
(was once used monthly)

my A4000D (used to run a CSMKII 060. now has a stock 030 card, as the MKII died, and I haven't sent it off for repairs, yet.)
(then used rarely)
My A500, A3000, and all sorts of other strange hardware I've got around.
I'm somewhat ashamed to admit it, really, but that's the situation. At this stage, I can't see how I could classify myself as anything BUT a collector.
