I have another (if you remember from a few years ago) box of Amiga manuals and disks to sell. Please make an offer for the entire box or I will be forced to set a price. :-P

I don't really know these days. How does $30 sound? Media mail (9 days) shipping is about $10. Fedex 4 day around $20.

I really hope you scanned those manuals, as pdfs first. We need to archive those, for when they don't exist anymore.  :-o

Well, if all Bug_Racer wants is the DPIV stuff, I would part it out if someone else who was archive minded wanted the rest. I'd have to have both offers at the same time, though. I'm on a stuff selling bender right now so I can have less stuff I don't use (and is going to waste inmy closet) and I don't want to still have the box after having sold just DPIV from it.

That goes for anyone who wants to get together with other people and make me an offer. I suppose I could separate things into other boxes and ship them to different locations as long as the added shipping cost is covered.

I, too, hope that this stuff doesn't get tossed in a pit. My closet, however, is not so understanding. :-)

Now that the Back2Roots guys seem to be gone, are there any other archive groups around? I thought I heard about someone a while back that was saving software and manuals for posterity. Is that true?

If anyone on amiga.org is part of the Software Preservation Society, let me know if my box of goodies is something your project is interested in. If I can't get anyone to buy the whole box, I can take individual requests and send the rest to you guys.

Not sure if I could be useful, but when I got an A3000 back around 99, It included TONS of manuals for various programs that I never heard of and all in still good condition.  I think a site to archive all of it would be great....

Better do something soon though.  The books may be brittle.

I got lots of game manuals/copy protection wheels heheheeh.
