as it is has an RTL8029, then it is 10MBit and I have never seen RTL8029 on a card for another slot than PCI ;-)

About the price, I do not know :-(

I would never buy such a card ... we can get an ok RTL8139 for about 50kr i Denmark (about 7$) :-D

True for most I guess :-D (unless you're really lucky). I share a cablemodem connect with 2 flatmates and we only have a 10MB LAN (which connects to the cable modem). Works like a treat, apart from the Lin*x server HD crash. It's now running BSD :-).


If you only use the server as a DHCP-server, then you should try Coyote Linux it only uses a Floppy disk and two NIC, and it work every time :-D I use it at 3 places (1xP100, 1xP120 and 1xPII233)
