WARNING: Buyer Beware!
It has been confirmed that this site is owned by a noted internet con-artist, Robert O'Neill. Please scroll down and review the articles posted by Member Piru before ordering.

Welcome. Always nice to see new Amiga vendors.
It would be nice if your "About" page gave at least a little information regarding who you are and where you do business from.

I don't live too far from him, I can always "pay him a visit" if he rips anyone off. ;)
-
Investigating now...
In the mean time, all users be cautious in ANY on-line dealings. Most of the person-to-person deals have gone fine but in the past we have received several warnings of sales gone south as well.
We can not do anything directly to help some one who has been ripped off financially so PLEASE tread carefully and get REFERENCES!
The fact that two prominent users have alerted us to this site and it's owner's history is enough for anyone to steer clear IMHO...
-
Love the amiga store link quote -"A Main Sponsor of Altrincham Football Club!"

Love the amiga store link quote -"A Main Sponsor of Altrincham Football Club!"
LOL. Who?
Mind you, it doesn't take much. I'm sponsoring Cardiff City FC for two matches (Nottenham Forest this month and Birmingham City next month). It just means that I've bought VIP tickets and reserved a table in their lounge for the games... and as it is business sponsorhip I get to write it off on my taxes. :D

What a shame.
I was eyeing one of those US A1200 keyboards. Mine is has a UK keyboard.
I don't want Nicholas to have to go shake the guy down.
Dealing with Analogic Computers was bad enough.
-
WTF? "Many Brand New Amiga Parts".
If it sounds to good to be true it usually is. Now where have I heard that before?

I was doing the same...
Why can't we get BRAND NEW :P US A1200 keyboards? :(

Is that similar to how Commodore sponsored an entire football arena?
-
Nice website.
Pity about the reputation of the owner.
The 1200 keyboards are interesting.
-
Nice one Piru.
Has to be said that the timing of this is suspect too. Just before Christmas is a favourite time for scam websites to be promoted.
There are dodgy ugg-boot sites all over the place.
I see he's such a "main sponsor" he's not even listed under the sponsors tab or sponsor directory!

Here you go...new keyboards from AmigaKit

Mr. O'Neill,
What kind comments?
Anyway, Merlancia and Analogic Computers and various Nigerian individuals already offer similar services...
What makes your scam unique?

Sounds like Mr. O'neil's native language is not English. There are a ton of grammatical mistakes in his answer.

There are TONNES of mistakes.
There is a TON of mistakes.
Oh dear, I love it when someone is stupid enough to argue out of pure ignorance:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ton
The object of the sentence are the MISTAKES, the ton is simply quatifying them.
Would you say "There is a 100 mistakes" or would you say "There are 100 mistakes"? Don't bother answering because you'll be wrong.
And the plural of Ton can be tons (see link).
Belfast education... oh dear: "There'd be a ton of mistakes, that there'd be."

I don't know.... I wouldn't be claiming working for Genesi and Bplan as a badge of honor.

ah! this alone explains a thing or 3!
If i were you i wouldn't add it onto a curricilum!
-
Just to clear up the ton thing here... You're talking about two different things even perhaps without realising. The plural of ton is tons, not tonnes. Tonnes is the plural of tonne, which is a metric unit, whereas ton is imperial or US. Similar, but different. Anyway, when it comes to using singular or plural, you need to consider in what way the quantity of the sentence object is being measured. For example, there is some money in the box versus there are some coins in the box. So, if you think of the mistakes as one steady flow of errors, then there is a ton (or tonne) of them. If you think of them as a discrete quantity then there are a ton (or tonne) of them. Anyway, ton (or tonne) wasn't meant for this sort of thing, which is why problems arise when it's used like that in common usage. I'll take of my annoying hat now ;)
Anyway, back to your normal programming... It would be interesting to see what someone has to say after going and visiting this company...

Inspection...

I like the british spelling - tonne or tonnes.
How about when using the word to mean "a bunch" or "lots", as in
"Do you have any A1200 US keyboards?" "Oh, tons! (tonnes?)"
-
Inspection...
Sounds like a plan.
-
@piru:
Noble effort anyway, many thanks.
I NEVER pay attention to posts with no address anyway.

Nope, I was just listening to Leftfield, but now that you mention it...

It seems you're being obtuse.
To be private is one thing. Being invisible or hiding when trading another.
It can appear to be dis-honest.
IMHO, Too many red flags here for my trade.
