Just to get this clear: Does it display 15khz modes WITHOUT an indivision? i.e. straight from the amiga's rgb port with the adapter?

Can you show some games? What resolutions (Horizontal x vertical pixels) have you tried?

It looks like a great find!

I am in the middle of installing OS 3.9 and figuring out my patches. As soon as I get my system re-stabalized I'll take some photos and maybe even make a video.

In the mean time, yes, this monitor displays standard modes without an Indivision or any sort of Flicker Fixer for that matter.

I have tried it only with the 6 standard modes that come with WorkBench 3.1. All of them worked, but medium laced was about as high as I could go without sacrificing a sharp picture...

...pretty much the same as on a 1084s, but with a little less flicker, and a lot easier to read.

Here is a shot in 640x400 (interlaced), with the MKII.

Inspired by this thread I thought I'd give my SyncMaster 710t a shot (thinking it might have same panel and electronics). But unfortunately it didn't sync down to 15khz (although it displays 31khz/50hz modes very nicely through VGA, something my LCD TV has problems with).

A shame. Well now we know. Though I"m sure it shines with the MKII right?

I have only tried it with the Indivision Mk1, and I must say I didn't like the scaling. Could probably have tweaked it a bit more to better fit the native resolution of the display though.

I had to mess around a bit, but in the end I was able to get the Overscan to pretty well stretch across the entire screen.

BBlank of course hides those small slivers well. :)

This is a Samsung SyncMaster 711T  NOT "R". Sorry for the typo! :/

First post updated.
Cant find any Samsung SyncMaster 711T's either. :(

Bizzarly my Samsung SyncMaster 225MS 22" Widescreen Monitor supports 15khz modes but only @ 60hz  and not @ 50hz via a 23pin-VGA adaptor. :(

And this first on is without the MKII: NO MKII 640x400 NTSC Interlaced

And the second image is with the MKII: MKII 724x566 PAL Interlaced

Naturally you can not see the screen flicker so it is slightly hard to tell the difference...

...which is a good thing, this monitor displays pretty sharp without the MKII, though having the MKII makes the screen brighter and makes it a LOT easier to get the perfect crisp image where as you would have to play with Overscan and the monitor settings a lot without it.
