Its a great stable genlock with a super clean signal.  However, not A1200 compatible (maybe no AGA so no a4k??) you need the supergenSX for that..

Are you sure it works a a chroma key as well. It just looks like a regular genlock to me. Should work on the a1200, but some a1200's don't supply video port power... may have to use an ac adapter with it...

Joekster

It doesnt do aga modes i  know that for sure, it may not work with a1200 at all dont know.. its a known fault.

As far as power, if you have an expanded amiga with standard psu for sure you will need an upgrade psu. See my spec, I was running it fine with the 4.5amp (best one) a500 psu and when my SuperGen is hooked up i get crashes and mem probs (turns out to be power) now I use a Bigfoot psu and its fine.

Oh and you are correct about it NOT being a Chroma Key, you would need a seperate box for that.

And what does Chroma Key do again? That pertains to green screen effects right?
Will this work on the A600? And what else does the SX version offer over this unit aside of being able to work with an AGA machine?

From what I can tell the SX also has S-Video input and outputs.
