I am happy to announce that a new version of Remote Desktop for AmigaOS 3.x (68k) is in development! This version will be based on the latest MorphOS port and it will include most of the features of the newer MorphOS port including Windows 10 support, a properly functioning mouse pointer/cursor, audio re-direction, clipboard support, and more.
Although the final version will be free, donations will of course help. You can donate any amount small or large using the Donate button on http://www.hd-zone.com under "Remote Desktop". All donations will be sent directly to the developer.
A beta version is already running so hopefully it will not take too long for a release version - donations will speed up this process! Thank you to everyone who has donated in the past and for your continued support of the Amiga and the community!

Great news. Are you the developer?
-
No I am not :) I have asked him if it's ok to post his name. I am hosting the versions / history on my website and collecting donations for it, as I have done for a long time.

Hi
Is this just client or will it have server as well. Would love to be able to access my Vampire from my windows laptop
-
Remote Desktop is a client program to connect to Windows computers. So no, it won't allow you to connect to your Amiga/Vampire. But you could use VNC for that.

@HammerD
That's awesome news. Should we hope for an updated version for AmigaOS 4?
-
@HammerD Please PM me if the developer is interested in some paid amiga development work in the future. Once he's finished this rdesktop of course :)

Any news? PiStorm makes things such as VNC and RDP an interesting addon.
