motorollin Posts:8669 | February 08, 2006, 12:36:17 PM I wore out the LMB on mine playig Lemmings on my A500. Words cannot express my excitement when I unwrapped a copy of Lemmings on Christmas day when I was 10 :-) -- moto |
koaftder Posts:2116 | January 21, 2006, 04:00:41 AM Thoes things are hardcore easy to break when you have taken them apart to clean. They make a real pleasing sound when you click the button though, and the design still looks modern even today ( to me anyway ) |
MarkAshley Posts:319 | October 20, 2005, 08:13:01 PM I killed the LMB on one of these with Lemmings on my A500 :-) |
jahill Posts:1 | March 29, 2005, 09:24:39 PM Heh! Between my wife (then girlfriend) and myself and FTL's Dungeon Master, we got through a couple of those. LMB just gave up the ghost both times. They really were damn fine meeces! The one that came with the 1200 was pants in comparison. |
Cass Posts:826 | February 11, 2004, 05:49:14 PM I still have mine since 1988 :-) It's the A500 original, and works great. You may notice subtle differences on the bottom of the mice, the form of the pads (round ones, long ones etc..) used to be in contact with the desk. |
Aegis01 Posts:90 | January 30, 2004, 07:46:25 AM Yeap, I use scanline effect, and looks similar like an old Amiga Monitor. |
iamaboringperson Posts:5744 | January 28, 2004, 10:54:22 PM I still use one of these on my A 4000 T I loved the look of that mouse back in the 80's, I thought it was rather sexy!! I wish somebody would upload a pic of the newer mouse, and also the strange A3000(UX) mouses. :-) |
Ilwrath Posts:2199 | January 28, 2004, 05:12:06 PM Yep.... looks like the original 500/2000 mouse. I wore out the left button on mine... Then soldered in a new one, and wore out both the new left and original right buttons before finally retiring it. :-) They were darn good mice. What's up with the funky scanline picture, though? |
that_punk_guy Posts:4526 | January 28, 2004, 04:57:13 PM I've never used one of these. This is the A500 model right? The A1000 had a right-angled plug, IIRC. |
